Anime Breaker Energy Guide: How to Gain and Multiply Energy
Learn how to gain energy in Anime Breaker through clicking and multipliers, including units, avatars, and upgrades for efficient rank-ups.
In Anime Breaker, the primary way to gain energy is by clicking or tapping. This basic action also deals damage to enemies. Once available, an auto-click option at the bottom of the screen allows you to automate this process, making AFK grinding the standard method for accumulating energy over time.
Units and Avatar Multipliers
Equipping units (pets or heroes) provides a direct energy boost based on their rarity. Observed values from early gameplay include:
- Common: +0.25 energy
- Epic: 1.5x multiplier
- Secret: Early-build reports range from 6x to 30x, so this multiplier is not a fixed current value.
- Broken (Exclusive): One early-build report showed a 150x multiplier; treat this as an observed value, not a fixed current stat.
Avatars, obtained by defeating enemies, also multiply energy. These can be leveled up by killing enemies in their respective worlds to further increase their multipliers. The pet equip limit varies by game build; verify your current limit in the inventory screen.
Global Energy Boosts
Beyond your immediate team, several systems provide additional energy multipliers:
- Races: The race gacha offers multipliers such as 1.1x (Rare), 1.2x (Epic), 1.5x (Legendary), 3x (Mythical), and 6x (Secret).
- Index Completion: Finishing the enemy index for a specific map grants a flat energy bonus.
- Achievements: Click achievements grant multipliers, while game-mode achievements offer specific boosts, such as a 1.1x multiplier for reaching Stage 5 in the Hallway time trial or Wave 10 in the Alien Raid.
- Titles & Guilds: World-two titles have been reported to grant a 1.5x multiplier. Guild perks also provide bonuses, ranging from tier-one energy at early levels to a 2x energy perk at the highest tier.
Energy Upgrades
Two main stations allow you to spend currency to improve energy production:
- Warrior Upgrades: Gold unlocks this station, then Warrior Coins pay for its energy, damage, gold, and attack-range upgrade levels. Exact per-level scaling is build-dependent. This system is distinct from race-gacha pricing and energy-based rank-ups.
- Hallway Upgrades: This time trial station sells energy, damage, and attack speed upgrades in exchange for trial currency.
To maximize efficiency, players often prioritize upgrading attack range first to hit more enemies while AFK, followed by direct energy investments.
Rank-Ups and Progression
Energy is primarily used for the rank-up system. Each rank requires a specific amount of energy to progress, with early ranks observed at 10,000, 75,000, and 562,000 energy. Ranking up is essential for breaking through world barriers. You can enable auto rank-up in the automation menu to progress automatically as your energy accumulates.
Beta Disclaimer
All energy values, multipliers, and costs are based on pre-release and early-access sessions. These numbers, including avatar levels (reported as maxing between 35 and 50) and secret item values, are subject to change as developers balance the game.
