Anime Breaker Resource Glossary: Reported Sources and Uses
A guide to reported Anime Breaker resources including energy, gold, emeralds, and trial crystals, covering acquisition sources and primary uses.
Anime Breaker utilizes a variety of currencies and materials for progression, largely obtained through clicking, enemy drops, raids, and time-limited trials. Because much of the current economy data stems from early-access and beta builds, specific costs, drop rates, and the full catalog of resources are subject to change.
Energy
Energy is the core click and progression resource. You click to gain energy, and enemies provide drops that feed the energy economy. Energy is spent on the separate rank-up system—with reported costs of 10,000 for the first rank, 75,000 for the second, and 562,000 for the third. See the upgrades guide for the separate Warrior Upgrades station's unlock and level currencies.
Gold
Gold drops from enemies, with later-world enemies rewarding significantly higher amounts, such as approximately 252,000 gold per kill in advanced areas. Gold is used to hatch heroes via gacha machines and unlock gachas, weapons, and the Warrior Upgrades station; Warrior Coins then pay for that station's upgrade levels. Reported gacha unlock costs vary between versions, such as the races gacha costing between 10,000 and 17,000 gold, while weapons can cost upwards of 11 million gold. Gold can also be purchased from the vault in the shop.
Race Coins and Warrior Coins
Race Coins and Warrior Coins can come from raids and from specific enemies at reported roughly 20% drop rates.
- Race Coins: Used for the races gacha.
- Warrior Coins: Used to buy levels after gold unlocks the Warrior Upgrades station.
The observed enemy drop rates and raid payouts come from early builds and may change.
Emeralds
Emeralds serve as the free-to-play currency used in the shop to buy game passes and packs. Reported sources include daily rewards (such as 250 emeralds on day one and day five), like-milestone rewards (250 emeralds per goal), and emerald packs in the shop. They are also occasionally reported as rewards for time spent in-game.
Time Trial (Hallway) Resources
The time trial, often called the hallway, opens every 30 minutes and provides a variety of resources.
- Trial Crystals/Shards: Used in the trial shop and for trial upgrades like energy, damage, gold, and attack speed.
- Potions and Mounts: Various consumables and mounts are awarded for completing trial waves.
One pre-release report says Trial Shards and Amulet Coins are not obtainable from the Time Chamber. Because that report predates release, players should check current wave rewards in-game.
Raid Tickets, Amulets, and Materials
- Raid Entry Items: Secret bosses are reported to drop raid tickets used for wave-based raids. One Alien Raid source calls its entry item a “key,” but the retained evidence does not establish that this is a separate item rather than different wording for raid access.
- Amulets: Equipment rewards reported from raids such as the Natsu no Tai or Ninja Village raids; they are distinct from the separately named Amulet Coins currency. The retained evidence does not establish a conversion or other relationship between the two.
- Upgrade Materials: Used for progression; storage limits are build-dependent and should be checked in the current inventory UI.
- Accessories: Dropped by secret bosses, with each map's secret pet having a corresponding accessory.
- Potions: Consumables that provide temporary buffs, such as +50% damage.
Currency Boxes and Daily Rewards
Daily free rewards include a currency box that grants 3,000 of a chosen currency. Game Pass Box timing varies by reward-track version and game build, so check the current Daily Rewards screen for the active milestone. The box is reported to let you choose a Game Pass you do not already own.
